Artist Statement:
I study both the old masters and the Modernists. My favorite artist and biggest influence is Joseph Cornell. He made intricate shadow boxes from which I sometimes derive my imagery. I decided a long time ago that I would make art with positive messages and overtones. I prefer to work with the fanciful. |
